It sets out the full lineage of the Hasani Gilani Sayyids — the descendants of Imam Hasan ibn Mawla Ali ibn Abi Talib — and carries the line unbroken from the household of the Prophet ﷺ down to the living family. It is the source from which the chain below is drawn.
